TELETRAC NAVMAN AND CMS TRANSPORT SYSTEMS PARTNER TO OFFER CUSTOMERS AN INTEGRATED COMPLIANCE AND MANAGEMENT SOLUTION
SYDNEY, Australia – 24th May 2017 – Teletrac Navman and CMS Transport Systems have today announced a technology partnership, giving customers access to consolidated business solutions. Following the partnership, the joint development of an integrated end-to-end compliance and transport management system solution will help businesses meet complex legislative requirements and improve operational efficiency.
The partnership combines CMS Transport System’s complete modular freight management solution, Freight2020, with Teletrac Navman’s back-end job management platform. This will include job executing data (Smartjobs) with location, fatigue (Sentinel-Electronic Work Diary), Route compliance (SmartNav) and vehicle service data, creating a proven solution that stretches from back office to delivery point.
Teletrac Navman and CMS Transport Systems have nominated each other as preferred partners for compliance and fatigue solutions and transport management systems, respectively.
Andrew Rossington, Vice President Transtech – a Division of Teletrac Navman, said, “We always want to produce the best solutions for our customers and this partnership will help us achieve that goal. The transport industry has complex regulation processes and with our combined extensive expertise we will help our customers navigate the legislation, remain compliant and get their deliveries done effectively.”
With several customers use cases already underway, including Cahill Transport, Fulton Hogan and Rock Logistics, this fully integrated solution can be easily customised to meet specific customer workflow needs.
The flexibility of the solution means customers have access to a fully integrated technical solution for compliance and job management. It also has the added ability to record proof of delivery with signatures and photos, electronically from the driver’s mobile device straight into Freight2020 in real-time.
Transport Operators also benefit with optional real-time location visibility of their orders.
“We look forward to working together to help provide the transport industry the solutions it needs. As we learn more about each other’s companies and customers we will be able to work together to develop solutions that provide flexibility, efficiency and reliability,” Grant Walmsley, General Manager at CMS Transport Systems, added.
